does anyone know about that song? They sang it at Liberty University, , ?
The song is by Rich Mullins. I actually saw him at a music festival a long time ago. He was killed on his way to his own concert when his Jeep flipped about 10 years ago.

I have been to church a time or two, I know all about equivocation

yeah Rich Mullins was a cool dude...total hippy. I saw him in concert here in Cbus way back in the day, he was bare foot the whole show. Great music, although I am not so excited about the message anymore.

does anyone know about that song? They sang it at Liberty University, , Jerry Falwell - chancellor of- all the time when I lived in Lynchburg. I don't think it is supposed to be monotone and scary, is it?????
You lived in Lynchburg? Both of Richelle's sisters went to Liberty, and I was up there for her older sister's graduation a while back. We even went to a service at the newish church that Falwell built with huge tv screens and a several thousand dollar sound system where he implored us all to
A. donate money so that the church could reach its $5,000,000 goal so that they could build a newer, bigger church. (this took up >half the sermon)
B. buy the book that he was referring to in the sermon without which we wouldn't be able to follow along and which they were selling in the 'lobby' outside. (rest of the sermon)
It was truly inspiring.

sorry to be so blunt, but Jerry Falwell is a louse on the hide of mankind. yeah, he's a dick. I went to a private liberal arts woman's college in the same town and they were less than hospitable to us most of the time.... not a fan of him or his message.
