Just to confirm, I'm in. This past weekend I felt that I kept my head together. My technique was to carry my whole rack, place a piece every 4-5 feet and if I got scared I built an anchor. This is great for gear placement practice, but it makes a 5.8 feel like a 5.11.
I guess this technique will work for a little while, however I hope to beable to plan better, trust my gear when it is good, and climb efficiently.

Count me in!!!!!! I can definitely use it. Generally, I seem okay on the outside but I freak on the inside and then give up on a move that's totally simple. I'm game!

Is it really just one day? Can anybody give a course description?

Arno's typical course is 2 days, but I think at these events he does one day sessions. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Di took it last year - Di, what's the scoop? Tell us about it!

When is Derby fest this year? As the dates he sent out were for the end of the month, not derby weekend.
And, I think a full weekend class of just women might be a better way to go.
