Seriously, anyone know how to reach anyone at CT? I'd like to get one or two of the kids harnesses for when my nephews and nieces come visit.

Gee Ray thanks for icing the cake that is my bum week. I'm really sorry to hear the news, although it doesn't come as any surprise. I dreaded the day when I'd hear news like this, not like I have been doing my part to support the place during my year plus break from gym climbing. Climb Time holds many fond memories for me, many of them not climbing related. I remember the day when I put on a harness and figured out how to tie in and climb on plastic bolted to plywood. It wasn't like the time I tried it outside, but it was still pretty neat. Then came some guy named Ethan who wanted to start a climbing club. Soon my Wednesday nights where spent hanging around in a dirty, dusty wharehouse shooting the bull with lots of people I never really climbed with. I guess my favorite memory that night I saw some redhead in spandex shorts and a Rolling Stones t-shirt, although I didn't know it at the time. But like many good times, they come to an end. In my mind pulling that 'roof' for the first time, hanging out in the 'cave', meeting cool people, figuring out that bouldering wasn't all that bad, shooting a story on a kiddie comp, making a gym part of a weekly routine, climbing an upsidedown crack, and meeting the love of my life won't be forgotten anytime soon.
*sigh*
I see they are still lopping off mountains in Eastern Kentucky. Electricity isn't cheap.

If anyone wants to put the folks from Climb Time in touch with me, please do - Chicago is a massive market and is massively underserved.

You know, I just payed my March dues. I guess I'm SOL. :( Well, I wish Barry luck in what ever he pursues in the future. So, is lexington rocks worth fighting the Nicholasville Rd. traffic for a workout?

Yeah, I guess I'll have to go to LR now if I want to climb inside. Thing is my wrist is really screwed up so no climbing for me....especially plastic.
