sure roadside in the spring is fun so long as you don't have to work damage controle cus some gumby has a rooky belayer who doesn't even know which end of the rope to hold on an atc and back-clips the first four bolts of c-sharp b-flat.

boy someone is bitter...

In todays day and age of one guy stomping on the next guy to get ahead. I like to think most climbers hold themselves to a higher standard and offer to help the "gumby [who] has a rooky belayer who doesn't even know which end of the rope to hold on an atc and back-clips the first four bolts of c-sharp b-flat."

Then again we lost Torrent because of those same people... Maybe I'm giving climbers too much credit. You are right. Roadside sucks because you "have to work damage controle cus some gumby has a rooky belayer who doesn't even know which end of the rope to hold on an atc and back-clips the first four bolts of c-sharp b-flat."

i never said it sucked, and of course I helped out, as I have on manny occations at road side. I do love roadside, and I am sure there will always be a climb there that I still have to redpoint, I am just saying it would really piss me off if my day was ruined because some jackass grounded next to me before I noticed his attrocious gear setup. I would say that its jackasses like that who got torrent closed. That being said, the hustle and bustle can be fun on ocation but I prefer to hit roadside durring my favorite climbing weather, 30 degrees and sunny.

Kick and bite and cheat your way to the top of the dog pile. Let;em hit the ground. If you don't think they will make sure they do. Roadside today. Nobody but the two of us.
