Event pics are already up on the Climbing Magazine website thanks to Devaki Murch of Prana: http://www.climbing.com/
I will come back & post my reflections on the event as soon as I get a chance.

I'm amazed that no one fell in the pond. The bluegrass was good. Those guys had to be freezing and still played on. The jury is still out on the fire juggler. He was entertaining to be sure. Did anyone else donate to him so he can afford some clothes? I'm betting he has pnuemonia about now.

Props to Bentley and Morgain for sure. Man was that fun!!! I know they were planning for months... Bentley was in Colorado on vacation with us making plan after plan after plan... and doing tons of work to make sure that this thing was not only a blast for everyone but also raised lots of $$$.

It truly was a blast. Dinner at Mark's is always a treat; Jason's slide show was unique, fun, inspiring, and totally awesome; I must admit that the fire juggler was unexpected but SOOO cool - his volunteers were the best.

So.. what was the grand total for money raised? I bet we did awesome!

Concerning money raised, we are still adding it all up. Right now we are at approximately $3000. That does not include the "Adopt A Bolt" fund that was put on by "Team Suck".

I would like to thank all of the folks that helped Morgain and I out. Clearly none of this is possible without them.

We had a number of last minute surprises such as the Petzl Red Bull and vodka booth, Avery Brewery supplying beers, and of course Derek Derek! I agree that his volunteers were great and I am thrilled he did NOT let a certain someone throw ANYTHING!

I greatly appreciate everyone’s support and help on this event!

On that note, you think this was good? Wait till next year!

Good job, y'all. Morgain and Bentley, we are in your debt. You all pulled off a super fest. Long may you reign.

I wanted to extend my appreciation to everyone involved in organizing and hosting this year. All the climbers I've spoken with absolutely enjoyed the festivities. I was also told that Wes did an outstanding job with his photography clinic. I personally really enjoyed the aid clininc and want everyone to know what a great program Bart, Blake and Matt put together. Everyone was extremely friendly and entertaining. And I think we even learned something about aid climbing in between the jokes! This was my 3rd Rocktoberfest and was hands down the best yet. Thanks again everyone. Efforts like this are inspiring.
