Remember that all bourbons are whiskey but all whiskeys are certainly not bourbon. Just be careful out there. Life is full of choices.

I care about VO2 max. But not because of climbing.

True bourbon can ONLY come from KY. Remember that and live by it.

I voted yes. I don't think aerobic fitness plays a big part in rock climbing though. I train from January-September pretty hard for duathlons and never notice a difference in my climbing fitness from when I'm not training.

About the same time that I was introduced to Bourbon (by the fine young men of Lexington), I began to run more and climb more....so, I'm sure that my VO2 was 'better.'

So, the lesson is: Bourbon makes your VO2 better.
