It's being shipped as we speak. I can give you several websites that I found it for that price if you want.

I hope it's for real. I've read many a story about discount places that sell the camera, charge
the card and say it's shipped. Only, it hasn't shipped. Then they call back and try to sell you
items that should have come with the camera (like the battery).

It's always good to go to a search engine and type in the name of the company and "review"
and see if they are on the up and up.

Best of luck to you.

It's from www.expresscameras.com It was $669, although I got a highspeed 1GB card and the beefier 5hr. battery w/ charger with it for an extra $250. Good deal?

I hope you didn't get taken - especially on the battery and card. 1gb cards are fairly cheap and
nikon batteries are around $45. If they didn't ship yet (get a tracking number), I'd cancel the
order. If you do get it, double check the warranty card and the serial number on the body and
make sure it's Nikon USA.

bhphotovideo.com, adorama.com, jr.com Can't go wrong with these.

i'd add KEH.com, too. though their website sucks, they are ever so slightly less expensive than B&H ($10-20), shipping is cheap, and they have great customer service. depending on the state you're ordering from, too...(state sales taxes)

thanks for the headsup neuroshock. I called a friend that's a pro photographer and then I called a local camera shop. Then I called and cancelled my order. I wanted to get just the body for $669 and not the other components. Then after wading through the B.S. he tells me they take everything out that the camera comes with (like the battery) and try to resell it to you for more.

I guess I'm back to square one
