The biking and the gym have been working pretty well, but I miss going to the climbing gym. Thanks for all the responses, both helpful and ummm .. entertaining.

Have a great weekend.

Kiss my Angle, Segment, Segment! Ha, Yasmeen. Wait, or is it side? Geometry is not my thing. Still funny though.

Didn't you say you have access to UK? Then you are better off then most of the climbers in Lexington already. We used to drive to CT Cinci once a week, well worth the drive, and I still do that sometimes, even though I am one of the super lucky, greateful, bessed, people who have access to the best home gym in the East.

Hangboards are a good last resort.

why would you wanna hang a board? how can hanging a board make you stronger? This board isn't hung and there's lots of strong people on here.

One last thing, I was wondering what the beta was on the gym in Louisville vs. cincinatti. We were going to go to louisville during a trip to visit some other friends, but the $60 for a day of climbing (for me and my wife to have our $18 belay class) seemed a bit steep (and insulting, though I understand the insurance challenges confronting the gym owner) . What is the deal with cincinatti? Better than louisville? Cheaper? More user friendly?

Access to UK is better than nothing (but kind of joke if you've ever climbed in a real gym) . . .I'll take what I can get.

CT cinci rules for bouldering. If you want to rope up, Rockquest is better. In the 'ville, Rocksport isn't bad for roped stuff, and hester's is pretty good bouldering (from what I have been told). Personally, if I was going to drive to a gym, it would be CT cinci, hands down.

Welcome to town climboy, You'll catch hell from most of these people just because they're ego maniacs with inferiority complexes, and no life other than rock. It must be a small yet horrible mindset they live in.
