I was surprised when I saw a group walk by with their dogs actually on a leash at Great Wall. The usual is for people to walk by the leash sign, laugh and unleash their mut.

not the dog's fault. Bad owners. Old story.

I was at Torrent this weekend sport climbing. I wasn't able to bring my dog there, so I figured I'd do the dirty work. There were too many cars there, and considering myself a local, I decided to mark my territory. I mean, locals shouldn't have to wait in line for the good routes, so I whipped it out and pissed on the cars. Not a lot, hell my bladder isn't that big. Just enough to get the door handles on each one. Then I took a dump underneath Big Money Grip. I wanted to go off trail, really I did, I just couldn't risk getting poison ivy again. I didn't want to offend anyone by swearing, so I opted to let out a primal yell and grunt with every move to show people that all the moves wer impossible for them and that no mortal could touch this route. Because I was sport climbing, I didn't bring anything with me except shoes, harness, and a stick clip, so between burns I bummed water from all the other people, then ate their granola bars and trail mix. When I walked up to each route, I stepped on other people's ropes because I just don't give a fuck. They are the ones who should move their shit off the trail. I let out a few more grunts and yells on my proj, then left beating my chest and spraying about what a good climber I am.

But your right, dogs are much worse than people are.

Old story, yes. Too old. Are we going to wait until we have no place to climb before we do something about these "bad owners"?

The dog at the crag topic SUCKS.... The only thing more annoying about the Red is that its located in a dry county. Now I say we start a topic on improving the beer sales in the Red, and possibly an ice cream delivery service to the crags.
Now those would be topics with a positive outcome....

Maybe we can turn this forum around... And save a few more wasted efforts to improve upon our selfish postions on dogs ....

Personally, I would LOVE ice cream delivery service to the crags. On a hot summer day, a nice lemon sorbet would be devine.

I agree with Pig, people at the crag suck. Asshole people have ruined more days than asshole dogs.
