damn you pig, i was gonna use it at the rival wall :)

i do miss arguing about sport/trad, dry treated ropes/non and why this route only got 2 stars. i think we should get old school, start chopping bolts and bring back the trad/sport turf wars.

I noticed my dry rope doesn't knot up like my non. Dry all the way.

One of the reasons I like this site is so that I can have an "afteraction Report" and view the various opinions. I can compare my position to others and stand in their shoes. I may not always like what they say but I am always changed by at least considering other viewpoints.
An example is the incident I was involved in last Saturday.
By posting the way I experienced it I was hoping that others who were there would tell me what they saw which I assumed would be different thatn my experience.
Maybe even the guys at that table I confronted would post their version and the possibility of resolution and gowth can happen
I needed to share that post even though it reveals my dark side and opens me to ridicule and /or criticism. I can take it.
Without the Internet I would be explaining to people who really don't understand.
Without this site the opportunity for learning from this would be diminished.
In fairness to my opponents that night if they had really meant me harm there would not have been yelling. someone(s) would have beat me up. so even at our worst we were still climbers. 8)
I try to be a good man but all that comes
of trying is I feel more guilty.

only sport weenies get freaked about loose bolts. They've never placed 'emotional pro' and probably never climbed at Joshua Tree, either.
