no he shouldn't have had to apologize. unfortunately, situations go wildly out of control due to whatever circumstances. christian being the better man, tried to make amends, and the guy was still being a fuck. therefore, he should've been taught a lesson.

Thanks bras. You know that aggression just breeds aggression. When drunks get beat up they go get guns.

This sounds like a case in point where peer pressure should be brought to bear- albeit the next morning after drunk bubba has a hangover.
Did Miguel kick douch bag out of the Miguel's?

You know, the whole deal is out of control. Miguel should be informed when this crap is going on. He doesn't need that going on in his campground.

Chris, I am sorry you left. I feel a little guilty b/c I felt like you were sticking up for me. Thanks alot for that. I was pretty angry when they threw the firecrackers in the fire and my puppy took off. I was pretty deep in those woods looking for her, assuming the worst.
BUT I also tired to control my anger b/c I realized they were drunk and just being stupid.... then they kept thowing the firecrackers in.... I just pictured the little pup running further and further away from the fire. I was pretty mad and didn't make it back to the fire that night. Thank goodness I can sleep in my car. The poor puppy was still shaking in fear when I tried to walk her the next morning. So much for trying to socialize her.
I like meeting people at Miguels and sitting around the fire. But next time it's a big group of us I think we should head elsewhere. I hope to see you at the red again someday.

glad you found your pup lizarddoc. good luck finding her a home and a name! cute little bugger! back to the topic, i always support miguel's by eating there and buying some gear. usually camp elsewhere though. i camped there sat. night and witnessed the fiasco by the fire. it's cool to drink beer and "shot the shit" about your day around the fire, but please be respectful of others. i only live 2 hours away, but some climbers drive long distances just to climb at the red. i'm sure the last thing they want to hear late at night is how drunk you are! please respect others!!!! too many egos sometimes! anyways, the weather rocked this weekend and the climbing was so good! already stoked about next weekend! later y'all!
