I heard it was called bald rock rd. because tourist in the 1800's used to throw rocks at the Bald Eagles near big sinking creek. After all of the Bald Eagles died they called it Bald Rock Road. Thats what the sign says at the Bald Eagle mass grave memorial near the new RRGCC parking lot for Drive By.

More hiking on Saturday. Stirred up a Wild turkey, found a bunch of Hominy Holes, an Old Mine, Great views, and lost of snow.
Interestingly...
I found a set of tracks. Looked like Two people and a pair of dogs. Looked like they were doing the same thing I was. They hiked around both sides of the horseshoe, which I was planning on doing when I saw the cliffs. I'm pretty sure they were other climbers checking things out, but it could have been anybody checking the cliff out, I guess.
Was it anybody from the board?

Not me...besides, if you're hiking around Big Sinking (I'm assuming) that's not my usual haunt anyway.
