I think there is something to be said for Rockquest as well, they have an ever changing selection of problems in the cave and the three overhangs. I agree with Wes to an extent about routes, but when the nearest "Routes" are 2 hours away, RQ keeps you in shape until you get back there. I've never had to wait for anything I want to do there, and the people working there are knowledgable on climbing(unlike other places). That's my shameless plug for my gym.

I would kill to have a gym like that in Lexington - sooo many killer problems, so many great angles and walls. None of you have any excuse to not be crushing on real rock with a place like that to train. They should take it down wall by wall and move it to lexington...
No kidding. We really need a gym.

Good, easier then I thought, which means I was able to walk away from the finish line under my own power. Diggum kicked ass, a great display of grit and willpower. We both onsighted our first 26.2 miler, at 5.40. Just hope I can walk tomorrow.

And, I really, really miss the team Lexington trips to CT from last fall. Must get it started up again. I have had as much fun at CT as I have had many days at the red...

congrats. pretty amazing accomplishment. and walking shouldn't be too much of a problem tomorrow, but steer clear of stairs for a couple days.

I redpointed "Ohio's Longest, Hardest Climb" for the second time ever at Eden Park Friday and have the massive flapper to prove it. What you say? The 400' lower traverse on the backside of the wall. What us old school Buckeyes trained on before plastic.

Good job Bill, that truly is an awesome feat! We are so lucky to have that wall,
it's as good as the gym sometimes. Alot of people complain that it's too hard, I've become alot better climber because of it. I have'nt done anything about those
anchors yet, but I will soon, see you around.
