A good friend of mine is a medic who just re-upped. This quote struck me as odd b/c of the stop-loss in place with medics right now. She wasn't going to get out if she wanted to so she decided to re-up for the huge bonus.
Thanks for all you guys do. I'll forever be here to patch you up when you fall.

I should have stated in the"Combat Arts" it is high(no one wants to leave bro's behind), I know little/nothing of the Medical Field, However I applaud and bow to your friend for both being patriotic and wise(bonus). She too is now on my list of hero's and in my prayers!!!!
I was just down at Fayetteville a week or so back. There is a 14,000 sq.ft.
gym called "The Climbing Place" not far from Fort Bragg. Also there is a good mountain bike trail on base called "Chicken Road" I think. Of course there is world class climbing a few hours west - Looking Glass - table Rock- Linville Gorge - Devil's Courthouse etc. Good luck at Bragg, the traffic is a bitch. Lots of pawn shops, skin ink, used car lots, and other great places to shop.
Best Of Luck

Thanks for the info quicksilver, I'm glad to hear there's a gym conveniently located. Greg, you better be ready for Twinkie. We're gonna run laps on that thing. It's hard to find good beer here. No Blue Moon in sight. Did all my checking in at Airborne today. Actual training starts Monday, the 2nd week is tower week, and then I get to jump out of a plane! I'm so pumped up about it, because the Blackhats told us all great stories, like the girl who got stuck against the plane and ripped her chute off and she burned in, or the tensile strength of your skin is weak enough that it can be ripped right off, and my favorite, this guy last week who snapped his femur so badly that they had to amputate his leg. Oh, and the guy who's legs got pushed up into his body and broke his pelvis. Ahh, it's gonna be so relaxing. Well, I haven't gotten more than 3-4 hours of sleep in the past week or so, so I'm gonna "crash." Haha. Oh, and Georgia weather is nuts. In Kentucky we go spring, summer, fall, winter. Here it's summer, winter. And that's within two days. Peace.
