It was fun and fast paced enough to keep my attention. Font is the place to live and die. I saw 55 year old men cranking on 7Cs and felt some of the kindest sandstone known to man. Saw Karma and tried Little Karma. Karma looks impossible. It's amazing that humans have done that problem. Inspiring for sure. All I want to do is get stronger and stronger and stronger. If I lived in Paris, I would burn my rope and forever boulder.
The food was good but it is better in the good old US of A. Michelle enjoyed drinking wine while I stood on the sidelines drinking shit beer. If Italians could brew ales, make pastries that don't crunch, and get over their fear of the chicken bird the mouth parties would've been much better.

Hell no. I didn't like any of their beer. I got so excited when I found out they sell Budweiser over there.

Italy is really amazing and it sounds like you two had a really great trip!
Yeah, even the French make fun of Itialian beer (and that's saying something!)
The food thing in Italy is kind of tricky. In general I love Italian cuisine, but there are plenty of so-so restaurants in Italy, especially at the non-insane price range and in touristy areas. You basically have to get lucky and stumble into one of the few restaurants where they really care about the food. I'm worried that you aren't raving about the pizza and gelato!
You're just going to have to go back in February some time - make stops in Belgium and the Czech Republic for the beer, Font when it's freezing and dry for some hyper-friction, and Venice when there are almost no tourists - winter in Venice is more cool and gray than cold and snowy - to me it makes Venice even more romantic!

What was better than the gelato was the mousse. You could get it by the scoop in just about any flavor. Yum...
And the pizza was our lunch staple. It was good but I don't think I can take anymore cheese bread for awhile.

Those are great. You guys went everywhere. That town by the sea all built up on the rocks is sweet.
