gunslnga, we can use any tools that you will be able to bring along with you. All of the above (that you mentioned) will be needed for most of the projects scheduled for the Gathering. I suggest that anyone bringing their own tools label each of them to ensure return to proper owner.

As for directions, from the Mtn Parkway, take the Pine Ridge exit (exit after Slade and before Campton, I believe). Make a left at the end of the ramp, then take a right at the Marathon Station (KY 715). Follow this road all the way to the 2016 Junction. Follow 2016 for 1.4 miles (take note of the carpet store to your right signaling that you are near the turnoff to MVNP). There should be signs at this point leading to the parking lot.

From Miguels, take Glencarin Road. At the T, turn right (KY 715) and follow all the way to 2016 Junction.
From Torrent Falls, head south (?) on 11, make a left at the KY 715 Junction, then make a right at the 2016 Junction.

Here's a map to help, in case that was confusing.... http://www.muirvalley.com/maps/mv-mapGeneral4.pdf

I made a sign to put up here at RockQuest in Cincy and have gotten some regulars saying that they would love to help.

I'll get the flier to Rocksport here in Louisville, Karla--this week.

Does anyone on this forum go to Hester's who would be willing and able to print some fliers off and deliver them there? PM me your email address if so. That place is a haul from my abode. Thanks!

I will be parking cars (again) and helping Karla Awesome register folk. I will bring lots of tools to loan out!

If you use my tools, you have to clog with me later though! :P

I guess I've got to ask a totaly n00b/novice question, but here it goes.
Is there like, any camping onsite? All my trips to the Red have been daylight raids, so to speak..
Or is Miguels the best bet? Hitch a ride with someone in the morning?

I believe there will be no camping onsite, unfortunately.

Miguel's is a good bet, or if you want, True North is very close to MV.

True North has beds for as litle as $14.00 dollars w/breakfast(awesome)and shower. I have been there many times, an overall great experience, and will be there next weekend as well. Jeff is supplying some food for the Gathering and will be there later in the day. I know this is probably seen as a shameless promotion for True North, But I believe in taking good care of those who take good care of me.
I look forward to meeting all of you on Saturday!!!
