Should climbers clean their tick marks at the end of the day?

YES, I'd like to figure the climb out on my own.

NO, I can't climb without visual help from those that went before me! And while you're at it, stand at the bottom of the climb and scream up beta about where each appendage should go next.

Chriss ticks everything. I swear, I think he has tick marks on his kitchen cabinets and doorknobs.

I think I have only chalked up holds never placed tick marks. I usually go for the holds with the most chalk on them because these arew the holds that are mostly used. Well sometimes you realize they aren;t and take the big whip but most of the time they are decent. so go for the chalk baby not the tick! every damn route in the red is almost caked in chalk. but personally i dont give a damn about tick marks.
Who Me? I gotta hitch hike god damn 18 miles to get a god damn beer......that's bullshit.
