Everytime I go climbing, and people come down fr a route, and the first thing they talk about is the grade, and whether or not they think it is accurate.

I hear ya Huggy.

Or how about when people come down from a route and they say "I thought it was going to be tough but it really wasn't that bad." As if they approach the route with only the number/grade thing in their head instead of the enjoyment of climbing the route.
