Here I go OFF TOPIC again...but having been in a great number of near-fatal injuries (only one climbing) I will say today that there are in fact worst things than a climbing accident:
- Loosing a child

Ha... sorry, after reading what I wrote down, I guess it's really putting damper on things too... Let me rephrase that, or at least emphasize on a small detail that might make you feel a little bit better:
I didn't "loose" my daughter - to an injury or anything such thing.
I am just having a really hard time convincing my ex that the best thing for our child is for our daughter to be allowed to see her father.
Right now, being the way things are, I really feel like I have lost her - which is still very sad any which way you put it, and which still hurts me more than ANY injuries I may have had in the past.
It was the moment - a late night thinking about it all. Sorry if I ruined the flow of things... I was just being honest, sad, depressed...

Guys you should be in my parents shoes. My mom found my brother dead in the garage almost 3 years ago-suicide. Now talk about really loosing a child, in my case brother.

Vic you haven't really lost your daughter, even though it hurts, but things worth doing aren't going to come easy. The best thing to do is keep trying and take it one day at a time.

dang man, I hope that is worse than a climbing accident, I'm trying to think of a time where you would loose that many extremities in a climbing accident and not be a dark stain on the ground...
