"Too many adjectives."
This might be one of the most un-informed things you have ever said. Are you all really that un-aware? Fuck, you could be sitting at Miguels next to a 5.14 climber and never know it. I would bet there were several 5.13 climbers most every weekend.Alan Evil wrote:Oh c'mon. What do you think the total number of 5.14 climbers in the world is? How often do those kind of people climb without an entourage, three photographers, and a videographer?
well said, but you should probably distinguish between a better climber and a better person. I totally agree with you, I hate the way a lot of people treat "hard" climbers as if their needs are more important than others and it's all to common in climbing, but you will find that attitude in just about everything. But how does that make them any better or worse of a climber then a noob sending his or her first 5.8?
Just because you are insecure and need a crutch to prop up your sense of self worth, does not give you the right or reason to say shit like that. I have been lucky enough to climb with a couple of the strongest climbers out there, and they are way cool people and a much more mellow then the ave. 5.10 tard climbers I have met.Alan Evil wrote:Weren't you paying attention in high school? Elite athletes are better than everyone else and deserve special treatment. They are like golden gods on high and we are lucky if they happen to pass their gaze in our direction. Everyone else is worthless shit that should feel lucky to share the planet with such models of perfection.
