that was pretty funny 60 lbs of trad gear and draws and no harness. I'm glad miguel sells gear.

I usually talk to the rock... sometimes I say "Uh oh"...

Do you caress the rock? What do you say?

When I haven't been outside climbing in a while...when I get to the crag I'll run my fingers over the rock & smile. I'm a freak.

Sometimes I sweet-talk it, other times I talk dirty to it, sometimes I thank it, and other times I curse at it... just depends on the situation and my mood at the time...

I think I usually mutter something along the lines of "What the fuck was I thinking, yo" when I am not in a happy place.

Rhino has some of the best lines. Of course, when your spotter and belayers are saying things like "well, it is way easier to go up, rather then down" or "Which way does the gri-gri go or does it really matter", or the classic "Dude, you are freaking me the fuck out" that really adds some fun.

funny belayers...that's what you need when you're sketched...

my favorite thing to say to a sketched climber is, "hold on and let me put you on belay." For some reason that doesn't always go over too well.

I miss climbing with Rhino.

oh, and what I usually say when I'm having difficulty is, "fuck me naked!"
