rockstar, If you are going to go all the way to Indian Creek, you should just go to Muscle beach.

so here's one for you wes: do you really think groveling up a bunch of 5.8's and 9's will actually teach him more than flailing his way up country lovin? here's my theory: anyone can fight their way up a bunch of .8s and .9s, and what you learn is that they suck and they are things to avoid in the future (plan your leads on long routes by letting your partner get the fat pitches). by getting on country lovin' on the other hand, you get your ass kicked from the get-go, so you are required to learn how to climb offwidths in order to make it to the top. i just don't see getting on "easy" ow's as much practice.

I wondered why he wouldn't just go to Muscle Beach myself. That place is the shiz.
then again the water is too cold for wading.

Ho, I like the OW stuff at Muscle, and there is a nice varity of crack sizes to work with. Flared hands to fists to arm bar/chicken wing. But, working country lovin would also be a good way to get dailed in on harder OW stuff as well.
Maybe you all should warm up at Muscle, then IC?

Oh.I guess I was lucky. The Wes man showed us the way.You mean not one out of 15 knew where it is? You cross the creek and big dead tree, turn left on the logging road, uphill, you can see minus tiruth across the valley to the left, after that swithback to the right, then head uphill to the cliffline.

When you pull in the big parking lot by the creek,if you face the creek,it's more or less right in front of you

tried to tr yuk this weekend but didn't want to try and go over the gap by traversing out from mailbox (bitchin climb!). sat at the edge and couldn't figure out a good way to et to a tree to tr it. loose leaves, thorns and a sloping ledge. better way to access the top of yuk anyone?
