Nothing at all wrong with goals, the problem is getting to attached to them or allowing your selfworth to get mixed in. My usual goal is to climb as hard as I can. You cannot control the outcome, only what you put into it. I can control climbing until I fall rather then hanging, I can't control sending or not sending.
Diggum, plan might be a kinda strong word for us most of the time. Sometimes, though, we do have an actual plan. Esp. if we are re-bolting something.

paul3eb, please do not go to military as it will be colder than melba toast inside a witch's vagina in greenland. i would suggest you go to the undertow wall where you will be sending everything like chessetoast on wheat.

Indy Wall, The Stadium, and Bruisebrothers Wall will be in the sun most of the day. Also, late in the afternoon the Tectonic Wall and Johnny's Wall will be in the sun. In the future the Solarium will be the cliff with the most sun (however it is not yet open... maybe in March or April).

Assuming the third choice means that it will be cold at military, have those 9 people actually ever climbed there in the winter? Last time I was there, it was down jacket cold in the parking lot, but I climbed most of the day in a tshirt on the 12 wall. From in the light to another doug read route is in the sun for most of the day. The rest of the wall gets some sun, but not as much.
