Wow, Yas and Wes are both drama queens....can we get you two a room, an invite to a pity party, and a healthy dose of reality? Well, maybe I am just not aplogising? I mean I know that this is the part where I should say "I am sorry, yas, let's kiss and make up" or whatever. But, I just don't see that happening. If she wants to get all butt hurt and quit the internet, then that is what she should do.

Shit, you're right. uh, me too!

I think the bottom line is that this BBS is a private forum and not a democracy. The mods impose ethics on themselves but furiously break them when a post may affect their friends. Wes, you aren't above that. Sandy isn't, Artsay isn't and neither is Ray. I know that y'all have edited stuff on my behalf that might have been left alone if it had been about someone else. I love that. I love my friends who take up for me and want me to feel comfortable posting here. (of course I was also banned for no reason at my bf's request)

Everyone throws a fit when they are edited. Maybe it just hurts when a friend lashes out.

This is a forum where we're supposed to discuss rock climbing and the things that go along with it, including the friendships and yummy things we find along the way and wish to share. Sometimes things get a little heated and people say things that get taken out of context or meanings get confused and people get hurt. I trust and respect the difficult job the mods do on here to keep this place civilized. If one of my posts gets edited, it probably happened for a reason. It's a reality check, not a slap in the face. Stop and look at what you wrote the first time and ask yourself if it was really appropriate for a public forum. If you've got something nasty to say and want to call someone out and lay into them for something personal, do it in a pm, not in public. You wouldn't do it in the middle of Miguel's so don't do it here. Good job to all the mods and keep up the good work. You can't make everyone happy all the time, but you can do what's right and most people will be happy in the end.
