Thats hardly an explanation. I just wanna know what you mean by "pure" climbing.
Cuz if you mean gym climbing is even remotely close, then, well.....jesus...
And if you mean bouldering is in some way more "pure" than other types of climbing, consider these things....
pads. shoes. chalk. spotters. brushes. crowds of people. hooting and hollering.
Also, if the "pure" aim of climbing, as ancient people must have seen it, was to reach the top of something, then I doubt those "purists" wasted their time on 10 foot tall rocks. The ones who did were probably called pussies.
The only "pure" climbing is naked, onsight, FA in a remote, uncharted area.

512OW: I don't think I have met you but you seem like a completely self rightous @$$hole. I could be wrong but thats how you come off. I have met lots of people from this site and they turn out to be nicer in person than they are online, which i hope is your case. i think you need to look into getting a life, try doing a google search.
