had I never been to Hueco it might seem cool to go there but since I was there pre-restrictions I can't see going there again unless the restriction are lifted.

I'll take choss unrestricted.....but wait you're on crack if you think the happys are choss.

Speaking of Bishop, I'll be there the first week of December, anyone else gonna be there at that time?

The restrictions can be a pain, but as long as you know ahead of time what to expect, and are cool with it, they really aren't all that bad. In fact, they can be kinda cool, as the place isn't overrun with people and dogs anymore.

The happy's are chossier then Hueco. Cool for sure, but I like hueco much, much better. The milks kick ass though.

The Sads are kinda chossy as well. Don't get me wrong, I really had fun in Bishop, and there are some cool problems on the tablelands, but, for me, Hueco is much better rock and problems.

I agree Heuco is the best bouldering in this country! But tell me what's chossy about the happys and the sads? Every problem I got on at both places was solid quality rock and movement...just a little sharp at times but not any worse than hueco.

Yeah, Bishop is awesome. Fantastic bouldring at the Buttermilks, The Happys, etc. Incredible multi-pitch granite nearby too! Cardinal Pinnacle was amazing! I thought the bouldering in Tuolumne, Yosemite, J-Tree, The Black Hills, The Gunks, Priest Draw, Boone, Rock Town, and Queen Creek was great too! Still HP40 is among my favorite bouldering areas.

if you have 3 months, go to Hueco - everyone needs to visit Hueco, then check out Queen's Creek home of the Phoenix Boulder Comp(and free camping), J-tree, and Bishop.
