It's not even an open project anymore, man. VA and I did laps on it this past weekend. Total Sandbagger my ass. That's the softest rating I've seen in a long time.

So, after running laps on it what would you say the grade is??

actually all the clips are not so bad on out on a limb. only the third one is really hard to clip. all the holds are there on a cold day...

i can't believe you rebolted it though. fuck. that used to be a really cool route to work on sending. all that climbing above shitty bolts. now it's just another gay ass sport route... i'm dissapointed lurkist.

Looks like you'll have to go do Special Impetus at Mili-Scarry and Down By Law at Global as those are the last two I can think of with Porter Hangers. Better get to 'em quick before they are transformed in to "just another gay ass sport route"

Wheel of time still has porter hangers as of a couple months ago.

Don't listen to him Lurk...he just gets pissy when other people get on routes that he's projecting. He wants them all to himself. If you want to really get under his skin, follow him around and project the same routes. He'll lose interest quick!

There is something aluring, dangerous even about climbing above a 13 year old 3/8" bolt that not only might shear off if fallen on, but with the Wes Craven bed frame hanger will likely lay open your thigh on the way by.
