meetVA, where do you work that allows you to have three-day weekends?

young'n i work for good ole CPS...cincinnati public schools.
but i bet if you try hard enough you too could work in an industry that lets you have long weekends.
maybe you could become a professional voice-over guy. or that guy who does all of the lines for movie previews.
just start working on getting that deeper voice...maybe a 'stache and you are on your way!

Hey Virge-- do you need a college degree for that job? Maybe I'll drop out and join you over there. This diploma is way overrated, just like a 5-day work week.

yeah, but yas then you'd lose your cubicle with a window! and that, my friend would REALLY suck.
oh wait. your life already sucks. cubicle with a window loser you!
just kidding. and to answer your question, no. no degree was probably needed. this job could probably be done by monkeys. which is why i was hired. when i don't shave for a week i really do resemble a monkey and you know how everyone loves to see a monkey dressed up like a person. it just sells things better.

Thanks, hon. It was good while it lasted. I can still look out the window of the guy whose cube is across the aisle from mine and pretend it's my own. He might think I'm stalking him, but it'll be worth it.

Just remember (I'm not sure if this quote applies but your post brought it to mind)
"Ginger Rogers did everything that Fred Astaire did, backwards and in high heels."

And how is him thinking that you're stalking him a bad thing?
