Guess you could break up some of the longer sport routes at Long Wall. Are the Pies Fresh has rap anchors mid point, and Trinket Man is interupted by a spacious ledge.

I did CH4 and Rising as one pitch with no rope drag problems. I think it's more of an extension than another pitch.

There will some true 2 pitch sport routes at Muir soon, just stay tuned.

I don't think that 20 foot 5.8 classifies as a pitch. More of a boulder problem. The whole route can't be much more than 60 feet. A bit contrived if you ask me.

The 5.8 is a really, really good 5.8 so it's probably cool that the anchors are there for beginners. I think the extension was probably added afterwards. It's bad ass as well.

Yeah that roof is one of those that had me going "Oh S**t", looking despratley for a hold right after pulling over.

Got on 'heard it on NPR' this weekend at Muir valley, and did it as two pitches. It was a great route!!! If anyone is at Joe Ponder they should definately get on it.
I guess you could do it as one pitch, but you would have a ton of rope drag.
