i will do my best so show my fellow ladies why bouldering is SOOOOO much better than that chuffing stuff.

BTW i bouldered today on some greasy granite and finally got a problem I've been working like crazy, and have almost completed a pretty long powerful traverse....

Mia, i just got back from your area... sorry i was a bastard and didn't look you up. Bouldered at boulder city, some fun stuff there in a neat hidden setting, I would never have pictured all those rocks back there. I did one sloper traverse with a crazy fun top-out just behind some really easy stuff, and then did a cool arete too. Fun fun fun! again, sorry for my bastarditism. I dig this pure climbing. I wish there were more hand jams.

man you are a bastard!!! but i'll forgive you...

i think the traverse you are talking about is the one i have been working on...you have to heel hook and then swing over and catch another heel hook to top it out, at least that's how i've been trying it.

not too many hand jams there but there are a couple of high balls with crap landings that have a jam or two on them.

Hey is that the "warm up" traverse on the first boulder of the main group? Or the on on the boulder behind and to the left?

yup, that's the one... easy, then a pinch and a nifty hidden crimp on the right side of that sloper where you switch heel-hooks. There definitely aren't feet through there, so I like the heel-hooks. yummy. what do people call that problem? I liked it a lot... though no pad was kinda scary. I had a good spot though.

thanks for the forgiveness.

well it certainly isn't a warm up for me but i think that's the one. it is the first thing you walk up to when you get there....
