One evening, at sometime after twelve, we decided to do a little buildering at Larry Tech. With crash pads in tote we meandered towards the management building. Midway through the journey we were stopped by a security guy in a Tracker, the exchange went something like this --
security "What do you think you guys are doing?"
me "We are gonna do some climbing."
security "Where at!?!?"
me " Not quite sure yet."
With that, he drove off. We settled on the management building, which is a concrete building designed by the architecture students at the school. After completing two FAs -- one a dihedral stemming type move on monos and the other a three move arete problem; we noticed that the janitors were taking an interest in our activities. Shortly thereafter, the same security guard bursts through the door and exclaims into his walkie-talkie, " Security to central, security to central, I think I have found them."
Sure enough, it was us. After a brief discussion and some coercing, we still were not allowed to climb anymore. We were than escorted back to housing. As we entered the housing with our crashpads; security, who has the most terrible toupe in the world, puts two and two together and says, "So... you guys are the mountain climbers, eh?"
