Made any progress on your projects? I got Jack the Ripper Saturday.
Also did that next crack to the right of Jack the Ripper that goes all the way to the top about 140'. Does that have a name? I thought I was getting on Specimen but that couldn't have been it. There are a ton of routes over there.
Then we went over to do Fibulator. I didn't feel like doing the creepy original start again so I started trying to figure out the direct start and finally figured it out after about 5 falls -- one head first! That thing is totally cool! I managed to finish the route to the anchors but I'll have to come back and do it from the ground before I check it off.
Man there are so many routes up there it's ridiculous! Have most of them been done? I walked around left from Fibulator but wasn't sure which ones were Country Lovin' and Drunked up.

Danny, The Specimen starts as an offwidth and goes to a fist crack for about 15 feet. Then it's like 5.5 to the top.
That's probably what you did.
Nice job on Jack the Ripper!
Did you check out Mr Get it on Jones? It's about 50 feet left of Jack the Ripper.

Hey t bone. The route you're speaking of sounds like the one that Jerry Bargo thought he grabbed the FA on. Why don't you post that picture so I can get my history notes straight?

SCIN, the one I got on started wide for 15 ro 20 feet like you say then there is a big ledge you can stand on. I don't remember using that much offwidth technique on that section but I may have stuck an arm in there. I thought a harder part was that cool awkward move right after the ledge getting your body up and sideways to get back in the crack.
Clipping that second anchor hanger on Jack the Ripper is a trip
Yes, we checked out Mr. Get it on Jones! We just sort of stood there in awe. It looks totally sweet!
