We just had family day last week. I was paddling but last year I rode 14 times in one day! It kicks so much ass without the regular crowds, plus we got a free lunch. Y'all have fun on dropzone and face off!

The last time we were there, the release latch on dropzone malfunctioned and the people were stuck up there in the high midday heat. The technicians tinkered with it for about 30 minutes until they were able to release it. The bad part is that they released them regular speed, not slowly. Imagine sitting there, frying, expecting to drop any second? :o

In the end, those riders were offered some free day passes. And we decided not to get on the ride  , so I have yet to get on Dropzone....

I went there two years ago waited in three lines for three hours and didn't ride any of those three. Everything broke down. Two times we were the very next people in line. Did get to do Dropzone and also got free passes to try again. Dropzone pretty much replicates the feeling when you first jump out of a plane when sky diving.

that's too bad about dropzone, that is a kickass ride!!! DELIRIUM is the best, though. If you want to avoid a migraine, stay off of Son of Beast.

Funny, I don't remember being strapped, buckled, latched and otherwise clamped down into a large steel disk with 40 other people the last time I jumped out of an airplane.

Maybe they owner of the drop zone I was at was trying to kill me but not providing all those safety measures. Hmm....I smell lawsuit.

A good friend of mine works for P&G and they rent out the whole damn damn park for a weekend for "employee dividend day", or some such event. Free tickets, parking and all that jive. I can't remember which weekend it is, but I'll be heading there with her.

No I remember being shoved from behind by my tandem instructor, didn't really have a choice. actually, the best was the time I went up in an milk carton plane and we just ran out the back, SWEET!!
