I think the only people in the world that use their AC is people that live in the midwest... I'm mean, think about it:
if you live on the coast the windows are always down,
if you live in the mountains the windows are down or the heat is on,
if you live in the north your like, damn, its finally hot... windows down,
but if you live in the midwest your like damn, can't breath, save gas or suffer.
my boyfriend thought he would take some weight out of his car by taking the a/c out!! me- never! I had cars for my first 7 years of driving that didn't have a/c, or at least, not that worked. it is nice for a backup when it is 90+ in cincy. otherwise, windows down is my policy
..those who can most truly be accounted brave are those who best know the meaning of what is sweet in life and what is terrible, and then go out, undeterred, to meet what is to come. -Pericles
If your kids are acting up and the weather is above 50 degrees is it mor efficient to strap them to the roof rack, trunk or hood or should we put them in the trunk?
They haven't told me their opinion yet.
I try to be a good man but all that comes
of trying is I feel more guilty.

I spent a few days last summer in Vegas climbing at Mt Charleston, it was super nice to have A/C when the day time highs in Vegas were 110 and night time lows were 95.
I have no AC, so it is windows down in my car. Besides it is good training for climbing in the south to avoid AC at all costs. Nothing is worse then stepping out of an AC cooled car in the middle of August to start an approch to climb in the Red.
