i can't really divulge that info on the web as that very same info could be used to arrest myself and other dirtbags in ynp. there are many tricks to the trade of living for free in a park with a seven day limit on your stay and a $5 a night fee. not to mention free showers, food, and gear. plus breaking the bivy rules, noise limits, fire curfews, and just generally outrunning/smarting/manuevering the yosemite nazi park police.

what happened to dale bard is very uncommon. ynp workers put up with a lot of climber crap. they have learned that we are gonna be the way we are and they can't really stop us.

scarfing food at the lodge is easy (i got fries and salad and free soda and crackers in one stop last summer!) but is only the tip of the iceberg. i can share tips and you canshare tips withme in pms. just not in a message board.

no solos of the nose until next spring. my solo list for this year does include:west face of leaning tower, wet denim day dream, prow, south face of washington column, snake dike and royal arches. for this year. my other walls include: the nose, salathe, lurking fear, rnwf of half dome, and skull queen.

If you are not already, you should check out http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/forum.html for more info about the valley.

To me, dirtbagging and out of bounds camping in the valley is a bad thing. Only giving the rangers more reason to harass climbers, and making it harder for people that are trying to do the right thing. If you want free camping, then there are still plenty of places to go that offer that. They might not be the valley, but the climbing is just a good, if not as tall.
