2004 does rock

1 day in City of Rocks, NM
2 days in Cochise Stronghold, AZ
3 days in Box Canyon, NM
1 week in j-tree, CA
1 week in red rocks, NV
4 weeks in bishop, CA
6 weeks in hueco, TX

and i even got to see some friends from KY. yay!!!

there are city of rocks all over the place. the two most famous being in idaho and New mexico. the one is idaho is far superior. the one in new mexico, while incredibly beautiful, is full of chossy, extremely sharp(razor blade crimps), highballs with no descents. it is worth checking out if you are in the area but is not a destination area.

the one in idaho is awesome granite trad, sport, and bouldering in a beautiful alpine setting.

Nice pics Merrick. Its impossible to take crappy pics in the desert sun.City of rocks looks really cool.
Some sunshine would be nice around here.The only good thing about all this rain is my flowers are blooming. Spring is springing everywhere.
