I went snowboarding up in Stowe, Vermont for the week, and I also stopped by rumney for an afternoon (it's only 80 mi. from Stowe). It was a good time, and Artsay, your story is more descript than mine. I was just kind of summing things up, but that's pretty much how it went. Last piece of gear was about 30ft. off the ground, a shit piece at that) and then a 40 ft. runout. I also have a fun story about Synchronicity too, but I will tell that one later. Oh hell, here we go...I sent the route on lead placing a single #1 Black Diamond stopper on the route at the little ledge about 20ft. up, then ran it out to the anchors. That was pretty fun and a little heady, but I like that stuff. Maybe I can get some new stories for y'all this spring if I can find some people with trad gear to climb with!
