We'll think about it - we were talking about getting a dog soon - but not sure how soon as I am moving soon and don't know if I can keep a dog in the apt I move into...I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Richard Parker is a really great pup from the times I've met him. If this one is anything like her brother, she'll be great, especially at the crags! If I was able to take on the responsibilities of a dog, I'd scoop her up immediately!

You are in Indy, right? My wife does adoptions out of her clinic (she is a vet). If you get me the info, I can have her put the pup up on the adoption board. If she doesn't have too many other dogs for adoption, she might even be able to take her in until she finds a good home. Let me know.

some shelters are no-kill shelters, and some are not - but they must tell you if you ask. and if your local shelter is NOT a no-kill shelter, ask them where the nearest no-kill shelter is, and they should be able to tell you. for example, the humane society here in e'ville does euthanize, but the one in the next county does not.

good luck! she is a sweet-looking pup, and i hope she finds a good home.

Let me get this straight.

She eats your food and the dog's food? I'm not sure I'd be hanging around a girl that eats dog food. It would be pretty embarassing to take her to Feeders Supply and have her dive head first into the doggy bone bin.

I could also be that your dog eats much better than mine ever did.
My dog eats whatever I eat... he says it is preparation for when we are backcountry camping. I don't believe him, I think he likes pizza and romain noodles. Anyhow, my girlfriend eats all our food! :x She only weighs 105 but damn, she eats like 205.
