Yeehaw!!!!! Just got a ticket.

I've had 3 friends call me already this week and harass me for skipping out on an engagement party Saturday. If nothing else you must recognize it's important to have your priorities in order.

Funny, this event changed our plans for the up comming weekend. Now I got nothing against bluegrass, bouldering, or beer but the potential for a large crowd of folks at a climbing area makes me tuck my tail and run. Maybe we'll discover a boulder gold mine in beautiful Knott County...wish me luck.

Why does it have to be bluegrass music with climbing? I guess it fits better than anything else, but really after 2 numbers ,it's mostly going to be about the drinking for me . tryin to reach that state where I don't give a flip what I'm hearing and it's just brown noise.

I must say last weekend kicked some serious ass!

It was sunny and low 80's on saturday, which is too hot for HP but still a great day and i have the sunburn to prove it. We got cool nalgenes filled with beer and some of us partied like sunday was a rest day 8)

sunday was beautiful, sunny a bit cooler (nice for the slopers) and i got to play on my favorite boulder problem!

hanging out with the cool kids all weekend reminded me that life really does suck sometimes!

Great weekend for sure. My whole body is screaming, I can’t even touch the keyboard without flinching. The weather was a little warm, but the bluegrass and bourbon more than made up for it.

Is it a bad sign that I had to use a pocketknife to unwrap my fortune cookie this afternoon?
