How the fuck could I ruin it? What can I " fuck up" by climbing there? Can you name one thing more that can happen? What more could happen outside of assalt that they could perpetrate?

Patience Dirt, let nature takes it's course.
I think that you need to go explore the 85% of the rest of climbing in the Red. You know, the place before the birth of the SR.

Maybe you wouldn't ruin anything, maybe you would. I will have to say that just climbing there wouldn't be any big deal (I wouldn't think), but are you willing to park at the Lode and walk in? They will tow you from anywhere else.
Bad scenario: You take your car/truck into the SR and park in your favorite spot. Worker bee oiljerker comes up and sees your car and runs and tells bawsman oiljerker who then does two things: One, has your car towed. Two, comes up with some other fucked up thing besides towing, gates and legal mumbo jumbo that REALLY puts the screws to the RRGCC and creates even MORE red tape for them to cut through. Now tell me, is one day of climbing worth taking that chance when there are about 800 more miles of cliff line just waiting for you?

Bad news pilgrim, They've already done all the things that you've said. They have illegally gated the land . They are towing vehicles. They only thing that is left is for them to assault a climber. Every action that they have taken up till now is outside of the law, but defensible and only liable, not criminal/ culpable. An assault would escalate that to the criminal relm. We almost got that when Brandon Stamper picked up a hand full of rocks and threatened to throw them at me. Threatening is only a misdemeanor and not very liable or culpable. The judge could rule either way on that. BUT if you can come up with bruises, or better yet, Blood. Then we are getting somewhere. It would satisfy me to no end to have a oil worker lay a hand on me... I'd probably just lay there and take the beating. So swing away boys. 8)

Joe, why do you insist on putting turds in the punchbowl? It may be fun to you to stir a pot of gossip and inuendo, but you are simply taxing the resources the RRGCC has. We are busy working on the problem. We really don't want you to continue to be another problem. I'm one step away from recommending that the RRGCC kick you out of the organization and ban you from the property.
Love,
Johnny

Please visit the

Please note: The the RRGCC has not opened the land to climbing as of yet and will keep the climbing community up to date as things progress in the process!
