Yep, "only a chuffer would ask what a chuffer is". Sorry, but that is just the way it is.

Tried the el murry's, and can just barely pull off of the ground, so I am pretty much staying with v5 and under for a bit. Having much fun though. Weather is still great, and I keep meeting super cool people.

Life is good for sure.

What a lame excuse for not admitting there is no such thing as a chuffer. C'mon ,you just made it up.

V5 and down.....Have you done/can you still get to 45 degree wall and hobbit in a blender? Those two were great. Drop a line saying where you went this week. Also, the only thing this site is really missing is some pictures of you bouldering. Send some in and correct this wrong.

OK, so you said I am a chuffer, but I still don't know what a chuffer is. Is there some kind of climbing vernacular resource I could look it up in? And Merrick, how much work goes into upgrading from a chuffer to a chufftard? I am still in school and don't have a lot of extra time.

I love Hueco! :D

I've managed to go there a few times over long weekends. My favorite problems were the Wannabe's at the Mushroom boulder and No one get's out of here alive (grrrrrr...never did send that one! kept falling pulling the lip)

How long will you be there Wes? I was thinking of trying to swing by on my way back home for Christmas break, but I didn't have anyone to climb with. Let me know if this would be possible :D

man the mushroom boulder is the worst one in Hueco. Just cause Verm says it's the best does not make it the best.

anyway, onefall the best way to work your way to chufftard is to say in a really whiney and annoying voice,"i am not a chuffer guys, stop calling me that. I am a real climber. I sent the red problem at the gym! could a chuffer send the red problem???"

that would be a good first step.

Still having a blast, and the weather is still kick ass. 45 degree wall is closed, but there are plenty of problems to keep me busy for sure. Mostly North Mtn, since I can get in pretty easy right now, but will be doing more east and west once it starts getting hard to get into North.

The mushroom boulder is super cool. Maybe not my all time favorite, but still super good.

Should be here until first week of January, so drop me a line if you need a parter.

Wes

doh?

mushroom boulder the worst ? that's either a troll or an admission of having no idea about good bouldering.

the el murry's are super classic as is mushroom roof
local flakes and the wannabes are good as well.
mushroom boulder is a must do for hueco.

If dragon's den is open there's a bunch of good stuff in there Wes as you have probably already realized. dragonfly, 3 star, hobbit, ostracizer.
45 closed huh-shame. The gunks boulder and all the idiots (near new religion/45owall ) are good.
