Hey, I haven't climbed in Thailand but I have spent some time there. My wife and I travelled there a couple years ago and spent a month bumming around the country. I think you'll find it REALLY affordable once you are in country. We ate like kings for $4/ meal and that includes beer. A place to put your head would be about the same...
Moving around the country is really easy and the people are incredibly friendly and tolerant of others once out of the larger cities...
<insert daydream here> I wish I could go back as I felt I missed a little by not making it into Laos, Cambodia, or Vietnam. Perhaps someday...

I'll bring it back, RTimm-- I wish I could go, but that sounds like a lot of money... I'll keep it in mind in the case that I score a high-paying internship during my time off school next semester!

RTimm... Climbing in Thailand seems nice. But for some reason I can't get these visual images of Chuck Pratt dating 16 year olds.
