Nice fall; but the grinning from the belayer might suggest that " traddy" might have been in over his head!

Yeah, or maybe he was grinning because that's the only thing you can do when your climber just decked, got up and walked away from it, and left you sitting there with that load of hot, sticky, shit in your pants.

By the way, does it seem fishy that this whole thing was video taped? Were they just a couple of gumbys trying to get some nice footage, or was this some sort of jackass thing? The fact that thet belayer is laughing kind of makes me wonder.
In case you misunderstood, I wasn't soloing in reality. I was just bouldering the beginning of that route. I see no glory in soloing... unless it gets you on the cover of Rock & Ice.

There are several weird movies on www.chockstone.org Check out the one where a guy climbs a route with the rope consistently behind his leg.
I've had just about enough of this shit.
