Phew - when I saw a thread named "Jim Bridwell" it seemed that there was a chance that he bit it in Patagonia or somewhere. Evidently, my suspicions of his death were greatly exagerated!

Glad to hear that everyone is excited about Jim Bridwell coming in, we're pretty excited as well! RQ will be open to climbing before and after the show, or at least until 10pm, Jim has said that he loves to socialize with fellow climbers so I honestly do not know how long it will go.

The show will be FREE, courtesy of RockQuest Climbing Center. Planned start is 7:00pm on Thursday, October 23. RQ is located in Sharonville, OH at 3475 E. Kemper Rd, a map can be found on http://www.rockquest.com I look forward to seeing everyone there!

Cancelled

Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I just learned tonight that Jim Bridwell will not be making the trip. Apparently there was some gross miscomunication between Jim and the Lady that was organizing the event. And unfortunatley we got the not-so-clean end of the stick.

I apologize to the climbing community at large; this is not how we like to do things at RockQuest. We still plan to attempt to bring Jim in at a later date, but will make sure that we deal with Jim directly rather than through a middle person.

After a dissapointing turn of events like this, I hate to ask favors, but could people please let others know that this event has been cancelled and get the word out. I would hate to have someone drive all the way up only to find out that it was cancelled.

Thank you for your understanding.
