Go talk to Michelle at Scenic Cabin rentals. The Office is inside the Daniel Boone Trading post. She is a climber and runs the cabin rental. I know they cut deals for longer stays so maybe you can work something out. It may require that you occasionally switch cabins but they might like having a guaranteed guest for several months. No promises on cost, but it might be worth asking. Her parents also own a place there so they may know people looking to rent as well.

I also recommend Scenic Cabins. I own a cabin and they do a great job managing it for me.

I don't have any idea about rental property, I think you can contact with someone else who can tell you about rental property. 8)
