Definitely not a thing of the past. Always check. Always. If anyone thinks they are too experienced to need to check, they won't be climbing much longer. Mistakes can and will happen. Ask John Long.

The same goes for cleaning. Weight your knot or your ATC while still in direct every time.

Anymore it seems my only partner is my hubby - but I love to check him out. every time. :wink:
