I think that this is still in effect.

So I don't think that there are any online guides for bouldering areas other than for Friction Slab.

I've got some of the problems in the guide. I'll put the others in place this week.

Cool. How about adding a mini guide for Clack Mt. as well?

I know we've talked about this beforr on various websites. I just wanted to do a poll now that there were more new folks posting around here. I haven't seen the arrival of the pad people yet, always thought the Red wouldn't become a bouldering destination and it looks like that might be the case. I know there are good probs out there, and Wicked Tribe has shown me several of them, just curious of others' thoughts on bouldering in the Red

So, from what I understand, it is legal to boulder anywhere in FS land as long as you don't publish it? If so, that is great! I've already found some great problems! But I'd still like to know where some "actual" bouldering is. Thanks Ray for putting some in the online guide.

If we tell you where the actual bouldering is we'll get in trouble.

And to be solely a boulderer in the Red means you love pain and punishment. You really have to want it to enjoy it.

I got a chuckle the other day when I saw Texas tags parked at the Coffee Shop. Think they saw that article that rated the Red as one of the best places for bouldering?

I think it's okay if you don't clean the boulders with "bleach, a scrub brush and napalm"

i think the boulders should be cleaned with bombs.

i know for a fact that the infamous bouldering guide was reprinted earlier in the summer. i think he sold some copies to stores here in lexington? and down in the gorge at the shell and maybe the chevron.
