thanks. it's probably been decided but carrying those assembled bridges very far becomes a significant burden...

Not as much as carrying all the tools and shit back there to build em. Worked well last year, got one planned for this year.

perhaps, was last year the 3 used around sore heel and out towards purgatory? anyway, if hex bolts instead of regular screws are used to connect the foot planks to the supports, then a socket wrench could be used, not sure that's much equipment?

Naaa, too expensive dude. We use a nail gun..... Much cheaper. It sucks I know but I've done it both ways personally. It's cheaper, easier and faster to preassemble. There's only one this year........

a box of 100 is $12. a nail gun is over 100, and the skinny little nails don't hold, much, but it's not the cheaper, 'easier' and faster, but the hauling. not your problem, but reducing decisions to a question of cost and convenience can cut out elements of value.

Sorry you don't agree. The vast majority of people I spoke to said it was a good idea and went smoothly. It's too bad you couldn't give me your input any sooner. It might have been helpful. Id be happy to discuss our tactics for next year just as long as you don't contact me a week before the trail date and expect me to have time hear your argument and give it the consideration I'd like to.
