Purple Valley and Pebble Beach need some work. Even if the bridge closes it is worth fixing up these routes. Folks looking to escape crowds will still make the hike/bike.
I've been a gumby longer than you've been climbing.

The sport routes at purple valley seem to be in good shape.,some minor rusting. But bolts are good. So just looking at some anchor work there.. same for Indian creek..
Pebble beach and pistol ridge both need work.
If you know of a route that needs work on road 9b please let me know. I have been checking a lot of routes out there but can't get to them all. Thanks Patrick

Really? Anyone have definitive info on this? Wanted to make it out there sometime soon.

There is a large sign out by the dip wall parking area that talks about it. They plan to take out all the old bridges on Indian Creek to help the fish.

Hmm. Sounds like a fish passage issue.

I guess they decided it was cheaper to get rid of them than rebuild them properly. Bummer.

USFS has almost zilch for funding. Current policy for dealing with impact/environmental issues is to just shut it down.

Agreed, Pebble is on the list. Any routes in particular come to mind?

I appreciate everyone's efforts in re-bolting and removing mank, however please DO NOT rebolt my routes. I will take care of it myself.

I have to shake hands with a very dear friend of mine, whom I hope to introduce you to after dinner.'
The polite way to excuse yourself and take a piss.
