Thanks Johnny. Actually, I've only been climbing for about 18 months. I'm not thinking I'll never climb 5.12, but it is fair to acknowledge that I'm not there yet. That's all.

you think the falls on tic tac toe and scissors are clean!? man, i know one guy who decked on to the boulder, and i have taken three falls on each, which all resulted in some kind of broken bone.

seriously though, i know who started the original rumor that ro is .12a. wanna know who?

I saw this kid onsite Scissors and was walking around pretty proud cuz he thought it was .12c. His buddy told him it was .11c and he got so pissed. He asked me what I thought it was and I told him I heard it was .11c so he gave me a dirty look and said it was at least a .12a.

Classic sport climber moment.

i'm afraid i don't understand gretchen. do you mean "when was that interesting?". as in everyone knows about that. or "when was that? interesting." this was a while ago i guess.

Lemme guess. The FAer's?

I question the 11d rating if you consider which climbers actually onsighted the thing. Probably nobody on this board that climbs at the 11d level.
